The moments that matter

Liam Quirk writes folk-rock songs and ballads about the things that move us closer to ourselves and others — love, friendship, hope, and the reach for meaning. Musically, his songs land somewhere between 1970’s lyrical grooves (Eagles/Neil Young), jangle pop (The Byrds/Tom Petty) and modern singer-songwriting (Amos Lee/Ron Sexsmith)—and something undefinable that seeps in from his love for jazz, opera and Europop.

Based in New Jersey, Liam has been writing and recording independently for over a decade, releasing EPs and singles that have found listeners across the country and on five continents. Cowriting credits come from collaborations with jazz guitarist/songwriter Dan Chamberlin and indie troubadours Rick Denzien and Debra Lee.
